OK....I will now follow up...
I went to a breakfast with said individual. I asked her about the receipt and she said...
That she is trying to keep all receipts so that next year when she does taxes she will have documentation (she is an independent consultant and does her consulting out of her home when she is not travelling)...even if its not really legit. She explained that she did not expense our meal...that it would have been extremely tacky to do that....she explained that she hated the fact that I thought so lowly of her to do such a thing. I explained that that is just the way it seemed...she hadnt picked up any other receipts...etc etc....
long story short...she paid for breakfast ($22) and we agreed to alternate.

See, all that was for nothing. I do have a question though, why do the two of you go out so much?

i would say one.five times a week we do lunch or something. i don't like eating lunch by myself if i leave the office at all. i would go with seductivetee but she work too far away...i would go with BE but her lunch is too restrictive these days....:)

You spend $35 a day for lunch? I thought I paid a lot, that seems like a waste of money. Why don't you bring your own lunch and eat in a park or something? You can still have a guest, but at least it would be less expensive.

You have to watch out for that fast food. Okay, since money is not important to you, can you send me some?

Is everything ok with you guys?...cause for her to try to put that guilt trip is very funny to me. "She is surprised that you would think she would do that" Well yeah you took the ticket and said that is what you was doing?
So is everything cool? Do you think the lunch outtings will decrease? People tend to hold grudges a little, she might be irrated that you even came to her like that and knwo she realizes she needs to come out the pocket too, she may not want to go as often. what do you think?
Also, why dont' you guys pay for your own meals and every so often one pay for both, is that an option?

Is your wife financial or at least active.
Some greeks are not financial because money reasons that is understandable, but is she still active?

my wife is not financial and is not active.

What am I not getting here. . .she took a receipt for a meal she didn't pay for and said she was going to 'expense it', correct? Then when you ask her about it, she appears offended and says that would be tacky? I don't understand. . .why take the receipt in the first place? I think she was just embarassed you brought it up after she'd done it.

It's equally tacky to take a deduction for a meal you didn't pay for either. Basically it's tacky to use a receipt for gain that you didn't have an expense for.

....on top of that Bright, she STILL admitted she is gonna use so when she does taxes she will have documentation.
What is the difference if it is still gonna be written off anyways?

and that is why they will not be having breakfast or lunch anymore, first she's embarrased, second, she lying about expensing it, third, she as hell and will not want to pay.
But what she told Que definitly didn't make sense! (Her dumb ass).
I don't even know her, but I'm irrated with her for saying all that.:hammer

que, why are you still gonna go out with her? do you really trust that she is gonna pay for the meal one time or another?
and as you joked before:
can a woman really get a guy to take her out to lunch to try and get in HIS pants? seems like she would be treating you to get you to drop the draws... :p
