Ok, why can't some of these concerts not be about being the 103rd caller! Dang!
I'm already upset I have no money to go lay prostrate at Tyrese's feet tomorrow at Taboo 2 - and now I can't take Sakinah to see Chris Brown (ok and take me too, lol)
Anybody know if New Edition is coming to Chastain this year?

I'm looking forward to some concerts this year, but my money's funny. So I'll catch the ones during the summer. I'm mad I missed the Isley/Angela Winbush concert this past weekend.
Hadn't heard about NE. I don't listen to the radio that much.

Turner Classic Movies's annual, free outdoor Screen on the Green will run for five consecutive Thursdays in Piedmont Park starting May 31st.
The lineup:
May 31 "Casablanca" (1942).
June 7 "Car Wash" (1976).
June 14 "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" (1969).
June 21 "Funny Girl" (1968)
June 28 "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" (1982).
All films will be shown on a 45-by-24-foot screen in the meadow area behind The Park Tavern (10th Avenue and Monroe Drive). Each film starts at sunset (about 9 p.m.). Last year's total attendance for all films topped 75,000 moviegoers. Attendees are asked not to bring pets.

Gotta get the turbans just right, lol.
That would be the only movie I would see, the rest don't appeal to me enough to drive all the way to Piedmont.

And I will BE THERE this year! We already marked it on the calendar. Has any acts been scheduled as of yet.
I'm looking now for New Edition at Chastain - they come around the same time of year.
