I remember seeing Troop in a video, out on this huge helipad on a tall building in LA at night, among other scenes, and they were hitting the moves...and I remember thinking, damn what is the budget for this, hip hop is really big time now.

That's the one!
That had to cost a grip to get that location and film from helicopters, and then the beach scenes. The group had a similiar look as BoysIIMen, with the smart fashion statements - but industry wide, the thug style won out. It's easier to be ig'nant.
