Anyone Had A Heart........I thought Luther wrote that too....
Now, I do like the country song that Gerald Levert remade and the one that Brian McKnight remade. Can't think of the names of them right now........will come back later.

Mercy, Mercy - Marvin Gaye, redone by a lot of folks, even Dana Owens.
But in 1989, a woman named Miliri had a slammin' version that cooks with a nice tempo. I have to find that joint.
The song, (Been wrong before, but..) "It feels so good", Al Jarreau, redone by Mica Paris.
Mica Paris, by the way, originally did "You put a move on My heart" and knocked it out the park, but after Quincy Jones swiped the song and made it with tinny sounding Tamia, that's all you hear in the U.S. Mica Paris also redid with Will Downing "Where Is the Love, the Roberta Flack/Donny Hathaway classic.
I was crushed back in the 70s when I found out both
"Summer Breeze" and "Hello Its Me" was NOT written or performed originally by the Isley Brothers. They did the ultimate version, but Summer Breeze was originally Seals and Crofts, and "Hello Its Me" was Todd Rungren.

Lalah Hathaway sang that remake. Her version is better than the original, imo.

I was kinda crushed too when I found out they weren't the original writers & performers of those songs...........Once day I was looking at tv and they were showing some CD you could order from TV and Seals & Crofts version was played and I was like "Dammit, they done stole Luthers song"........LOL and it was theirs originally all along.........
