Actually there is nothing I dislike about my job except that at times it gets hectic. But otherwise I enjoy what I do.

Laidback atmosphere, cool coworkers without any drama.

So I like everything.

Net access at work
Free cell phone (paid by company)
Use of a laptop
Free internet at home (paid by company)
Less than 10 minutes from my home

It's all good!

I like when we can get to the core of a problem get it solved. Identifying who should be doing what, so certain folks don't keep skating having others do their work.

I like rescuing people and solving an issue for them when their ass was on the line, especially when its someone who never quite gave me credit before for being as competent as them ( I'll leave color out of it but.... you know)

This might sound strange, but especially since I havent been at my old job in a while, I miss being among masses. - the whole flood of humanity off the ferry from NJ, people dispersing in various directions, and several hundred of us herding into the corporate gates of a bonafide global power in a bonafide global city, flashing ID, and crowding in the elevators. Coming in the office, cutting on the lights, settling in with the breakfast munch stuff at the desk, MY desk, and checking phone messages - taking that first phone call to be off and running....

issues at the workplace but what I do like about my job is:

The flexibility to work at home as needed (2 days last week and 2 days this week - I've been really, really sick)

media contact/interviews (print, radio & TV)

flexible hours

learning about and introducing new technology to the company

some really good friends at the workplace. we help each other deal with difficult situations.

Company policy is
When you have a baby, after your six weeks is up, you can come and bring the baby in. Everyday.
Once the baby starts crawling, then you have to make the transition to daycare.
I brought Drea to work everyday with me til she was like 5 months.

Work is my escape too but
8 years later
I'm still with the same company.

Its different when the child isn't yours.
You can play with the baby, and give him/her back.

As overprotective as I was,
And the way majority of these people don't like to wash their hands,
only a limited few played with my baby.

I never had a weekly check, that must be nice to see money before each weekend. Every two weeks has been the lay, except for my first job out of college, which was at the college, them bastards paid once a month... by the third week I'm feeling like Hobo Harry. I was never a Ramen Noodle fan, so I had soup and tuna stocked up, and in the employee Cafe, you could sign daily for your lunch to come out your pay.
