Once Again....I'm Employed...

It's been a hard ass 2 1/2 months with no job or money coming in, but today I'm no longer unemployed.

I got the job I've been waiting my entire working career for. It's with the Port of Oakland. I'm working in the Landside Operations Department as an Admin Specialist.

I took Iris' advice and made sure that I didnt come in here without getting properly paid. Thanks Iris.....;) It's paying double what I was getting at my last job. Lord knows I really needed the extra cash and my own office (with a door that closes :upto:)

Thanks all. This is the opportunity of a lifetime for me. And I have an advantage, my boss' ex-wife (whom he's still has a great friendship with) was my mentor and very good friend when I worked at TWA 10 years ago. I believe this was truly the Lord at work.
