either
go in my lounge, shut/lock the door, cut off the light and lay on the sofa.....
or
if i drove, go to my car and take a nap
or
start calling folks and chit chatting
or
walk around the building looking dumb

Listen to music
Read a book
Talk on the phone
Write in my journal
Surf the net
but I'm always bored. I work by myself, which has its perks (no boss telling me what to do) and disadvantages (no one to talk to, can't leave)

I am bored most days, and in between phone calls I:
play spider solitaire
surf the net
send notes to my friend in Georgia
take care of personal business
take a walk around the building
sneak and read my book

Go to the lounge room and take a nap.
Try to surf the net (I'm too afraid someone is looking over my shoulder).
Stare at spreadsheets and pretend like I'm working.
I guess I haven't quite figured out boredom at work yet.

I'm never bored(unfortunately)
My job is fast-paced and hardly any time to breathe.
I'm only able to sneak and surf the net every now and then

I go to my area and play around among the books
I make a wish list of things I want for my area
I get on the ellison lettering machine and make nasty words to hang on the bulletin board...LOL
I start chatting with my buddies, Hey J!!!!
I go to the break room and go straight to sleep and have my girl call me in fifteen minutes, thanks Laura girl~!
I get online and try to talk a man into calling my office and talking nasty to me...the list goes on!

I haven't really had jobs that allow me time to be bored. However, there were times when we've been instructed to "look busy" when there is a lag (they would do anything to not send us home with pay and I wouldn't give up my vacation or comp time for those type of days so I tend to personal business).
Now, I have 'boycotted' working and did my own thing which would include taking hourly breaks, doing puzzles, reading a book or the paper, visiting my co-workers or leaving the building on 'errands'.

stand in the hall and act like i'm policing it. vice principal wants to say "fuck you doing?" but he doesn't. i'll look in other teachers' classes like a lost puppy.
