I just found out that in Tom Brown's Funkin for Jamaica, the woman singing isn't Chaka Khan. For years I've always thought that was her. Who knew? She sounds just like her.

i didn't know that either. i like that song. looking at her that's like evelyn 'champane' king with chaka-like sound; but when you hear it more... the voice is not as distinct and rounded like chaka's. i thought rufus sung this song. lol... i never heard of tom brown. i gotta go and quiz my momma
