View Full Version : How do you tell A woman
knowledge7

Fellas, if you have experienced a woman with a bad smelling coochie....how the hell do you tell her? It ain't a problem with gaining the courage, but if you are in a relationship. How do you tell her without hurting her feelings. What do you just buy her some Summer's Eve? wash it for her? Leave her a email?

I'd just mention to her(not right after or right before sex)some products that would help her. If your bold enough to buy those products for her..then do that. If not..then while ya'll are in the store..maybe mention it. She might be ignorant of the fact that it's foul(i dont understand how)..but she might be. Or maybe she needs to see a doctor. She might have an infection or something. Maybe mention that too her. Its going to be a weird situation...she is going to be affected either way you do it. But you cant keep smelling that mess.

Tackfully place a do not enter sign.....*lol* just kidding. Seriously though I know you said fellas, but there are not many up here so I thought maybe a woman point of view may offer some assistnace. There are many questions here. For instance, is this just once a month or constantly? My daughter carries an unusal odor during her time and there is nothing, and I do mean nothing that can help, other than a prayer that no one else smells it. Douching wasn't an answer since it happen only during that time and she is still a virgin. Douching has also been proven to cause more problems than to help. Six years ago I developed an odor that was not normal for me. I was diganoise as have spots on my cervix that was in a class 3 category. Cancer is class 5. They where frozen and to this day, I have yet to emit the odor. It may be a sign of infection so seeking a doctor quick may help. Many times, a "forest of pubic hair" will enhance a smell, so neatly triming her pubic area may help and wearing cotten lined underwear. Does she wear tight pants? Because a coochie does have lungs and needs to breath *lmao* Lastly, the best way to tell her is just to be up front and honest with her in private. I'm sure she'd rather here it from someone she cares about then to have people whispering and or embarrasing her about it.

...with that. It's an awkward sit-chee-a-shun, but i guess it has to be done.

Be extremely nice about telling her. Is this an end of a rough day smell? or Does she smell lilke this even after she's taken a shower?
If it's the end of the day, suggest that she take a bath or shower to relax. If it's an all the time smell, maybe there's something wrong w/her diet, does she eat a lot of spicy foods? I really don't know what to say other than just coming out and saying that she does not smell fresh.

You hit it right on the head!! Just tell her in private and if she is a real woman she will be emarassed at first but she will definatley take care of it, with a quickness!!!!

Just tell her honestly, and discreetly.
It's an assumption that odor means uncleanliness but it may be a medical problem.
Also everybody's body is different.
Some women can have wall banging sex for hours and go right to sleep, wake up the next morning and shower, while others if they don't shower immediately the FUNK will keep you awake all night.
Also sometimes what a man eats will cause his sperm to emit an odor after it's inside a woman. (So it might be your fault too. ;) )
So it's best to just sit her down, and talk about it in a nice way.

I was in that situation and told her about Douche. She was amazed that I knew that stuff.. So she was straight after that. Most of the time I do my thang after the shower anyhow.. I been real blessed with clean chicks.
Summers Eve... Sanitary Wipes... been my friend for a long time.. I'd be like.. yo check these out .. Got some samples from work.. lol

I would try to find a female friend of hers, and try to get her to talk to her about it...
then it could be part of a natural conversation...you can't get away with asking her if she uses summers eve or massengil...LOL

See ...if it was me.. I would just plain tell her off the break.. blunt and honest... opnly because that is the how I like the relationship to be.. open and honest.. if I got a bugee in my nose tell me.. if my nuts stank after basketball.. tell me.. don't hide it..
BUT unfortanatly a lot of peopel are too sensitive.. so ya'll are suggessting telling her VERY nice....and getting her to take a shower....
Now I know if I ever come across one.. again...
That's a hard one. I don't remember having to deal with that one my brother.
I know it takes some carefull handiling, especially if its real good cause there is always the chance that she'll hit you with that perscription: "NOASSATALL".
That shyt is like pinacillin(sp) it's a cure all for a whole lot of relationship ills...

Well when I had the tampon stuck up in me..I am sure my boyfriend smelled something before I did...why he didn't say somthing I have no idea...
But when I told him about the tampon, he said you did have a funny smell:eek: . I was like why didn't you say something, anything could have been wrong..he was like I don't know:blah:
Anyway, we were young and he probably didn't know how to say it. My friend now would tell me in a hot second if something is smelling different. It hasn't but I know he would.
I think what you have to do is say sweetie, baby, snapper smells different? I mean just don't say she smells but please let her know, cause regardless how smell conquenous some women are, other's do not catch the smell right off as your mate would. So let her know...

How does he know that her "friend" is real friend? she might spread that shit all around town... I would never tell my mans boy to discuss a problem.ESPECIALLY something as personal as that. Thats insane..

I do think that newbies should get to know the people and the different personalities on this board before "going off" on old heads.

Misha. to answer your question. I am Jameelah,29, Washington DC. I was not "going off" on you. Don't take it personally. I was merely stating my opinion. Is there a rule somewhere that says that you have to walk on eggshells with your posts until you come out of "newbie" status? I have learned that on a message board and when you are reading from a computer screen, you cannot see facial expressions or hear someones tone of voice like you would in regular conversation. Just something to think about. So mabye you should get to know MY personality before you "go off" on me. Peace love and blessings my sistah...

No Ms 23 posts. You really should get to know who you are talking to before calling them insane.
Going off? You are a newbie aren't you? You haven't seen going off yet.
Walking on eggshells is unecesary. But allowing others, especially people that you do not know, to speak without going off about their comments. No, facial expressions and the like cannot be seen. But in time, you will get to know everyones personality and style. That is if you don't continue launching on those that were here long before you. Something for you to think about.

heres how you do it....
BITCH yo cootchie stank...so Im puttin you on a 6 week diet of fruit, veggies, water, the sauna, and serious aerobic exercise to burn that shit outta ya....In the meanwhile I aint eating no mo stank pussy nor am I sticking my dick in the stank...I dont want my dick to get sick...but I will be doing on the spot scent inspections.....till Im satisfied that ya been cleaned up :D
the straight up approach hurts...but one gets more repsect for honesty than smiling in sombody's face fakin truth... ;)
BTW Ive heard that using douches extensively cleans out the natural cleansing action of the cootchie, causing it to stank......

Mack, I know you are not that ignant!! Puhlease. There are several medical conditions that could cause a woman to have an odor. And as with ALL odors other people usually smell them before the offender.

I was thinking the same thing. Men think we want to have odors. All the shit we go through it is unrealistic to be fresh as a summers breeze every damn day...from wearing panty hose, to cotton panties, to funky ass condoms with spericide, to dirty ass dicks in us (if your not using a condom). Not to mention the period and all the other health issues women have...
But to have a slight odor Mack we should be told by being called a bitch?...that shit amazes me.
Plus some niggas got they head between our legs so damn much it's ok if you smell it before we do...tell her damn...don't call her names and cuss her out. Especially if she is your women, and you know the smell wasn't there at first. Something is wrong!

I love the collective amnesia up in here. How soon everyone forgets about battles begun because newbies came onto the board attacking established members. Do you remember admin launching on QJai (when she was a newbie), when all she did was try to give him some advice? Don't believe me? Check out the Father's Day is a joke thread in the old hush.
All I am saying is this: If you are a new person, take time to get to know the board and the people already there. Get to know their personalities, and their style of posting. Know who and what you are dealing with before personally attacking someone.
That has nothing to do with stifling opinion, that has to do with knowing what to base your opinion on. Agree, or not agree with what someone posts. But if ya launch on me, expect it back. No matter who you are.
