Fans Upset With Queen of the Damned

Some Aaliyah fans are more than a little bit upset over Warner Brothers' tagline for "Queen of The Damned" starring the late Aaliyah It reads "All She Wants Is hell on Earth."

A fan says, "Given that Aaliyah died so tragically, it seems incredibly tacky and exploitative."

However, Warner insists the tagline will remain, and a tribute to the singer will be shown at the end of the film.

A Warner spokeswoman says, "We've gone out of our way to be sensitive. Aaliyah started her career here. We love her."

People just have to complain about everything. It's not about Aaliyah personally, it's about the character.

Now, before yall hollar, I think we (black folks) are overly sensitive, and are bound of see a problem with anything said about her. But this movie is going obviously not going to paint her as a sweet innocent, it's about hell and demonic creatures. Equal opportunity means taking the jokes and references like anybody else.

It's a movie damn! Some of the stuff was probably decided before her untimely demise. It is a movie about Vampires, I am sure they will get over it.

I mean you can't be subtile about a vampire movie...people are so trivial..no matter how they title it she still is passed.

I'm not a fan of Horror Movies...actually I hate most of them.

I always questioned why anyone would want to do them, watch them or be a part of them, and everytime a star of a Horror movie dies...it just gives me an eerie feeling. :(

The little girl from the Poltergeist movies, as well as the actress who played her older sister both died tragically.

Queen of the Damned...it's sad...but it fits. :(
