Fam,what is the difference between "keeping it on the d.l. " and "creepin" ? I have heard people say they don't like folks in "their business" so they try to keep their relationship matters private -on the d.l. -althought they are just dating one person -but in my experience people who say this are usually creepin- sneaking around-because they are dating multiple people and don't want them to know this. How can you tell the difference between someone simply trying to maintain privacy and someone trying to hide something?

It depends on who you are trying to keep your business from.

I mean if a person is saying they are only keeping things on the DL but they don't want to be seen with you in public, don't want any of thier close friends knowing you, or otherwise keeping you a secret...there's something more than the DL going on.

I consider myself a very private person. I tell ONLY what I want, when I want to people I consider to be acquaintances. But people who I consider myself to be close to know every detail of my life. To me that's not everybody's business.
