i turned the AC off 'cause it's been going nonstop for a week. i hate breathing AC'd air, but i hate being hot more.

today, I decided to turn it off and open all the windows...been cooking all week and house smells like food...

really wasn't bad.

now d DETESTS the heat...but were the weathermen over doing it? now i haven't left the house 'cept to take out the trash and that was a 9am. anybody out in the day in the mess?

I had to go to work today. From the metro to my office building, wasn't that bad this morning.
Ran to CVS for lunch it was bearable.
But leaving work,
the air quality was HORRIBLE!!!!
I hate the heat but will tolerate it but DAMN

I think it was because you stayed inside D, even with the windows open. My Dad hates A/C but my Mom doesn't so they been battling it out all week.

I was over there on Monday and it wasn't that bad in the house.

But outside in my Jeep, without the A/C on it was ridiculous!! The heat index and the humidity and the glaring sun beating your ass like a slave doesn't affect you as much inside. lol

Coming into work fine - stepped out for lunch SKIN caught fire and burned the fuck off - had to put on my extra I keep in the drawer, lol

Damn it was scorching - My house temp was 89 when I got home took three hours to get comfortable.

i will cut the air off tonite though cause you do get tired of that air.

yall insane. get tired of the air. as long as the temp is set on SNOW im straight. I STAY HOT. as in body temp for some reason so when i dont have a flow of air on me im miserable.

don't get me wrong, i hate to be hot, too. but i have to have fresh/real air, also.

i used to stay with my aunt in the summer and she'd have her AC on full blast all the time. i always got one of those shitty summer colds in her place. as nice as that feels, if no new air comes in, germs and shyt are happy.

I park at the subway and from subway to job is a shuttle, so it's not too bad.

BUT......the damn subway coming home....my goodness.....trains running slow.....stations packed, trains packed, parking garage over flowed....ridiculous.

My AC at home is on 82 and have the ceiling fans on.

Those of you with Pepco or BGE....i here bills skyrocketed this month. i hear bills have doubled, some tripled.

Mine last month was 85, this month 119.

The heat really doesn't bother me, long as i have some water.

you guys talking about it wasnt that bad , it was bearable, try being in it from 7:30 am to 4pm monday thru fri.(and im not stnding in the shade im constantly moving) I work outside in all this mess so i have the a/c on from when I get home to when i leave the next morning.
and dont even ask me to go outside, i dont even walk the dog in this heat, i open the door and he can walk himself

...in Jersey Monday and supposed to be again today... the heatwave we had last week is concentrated more in the south now. I'll take the 80s over 100 any day!
