My new employer has invited me to a meet & greet at a baseball game on Friday, August 18. This will be my first time really being around these people and it as an event that is usually casual. Well I don't want to be too casual or too overdressed.
What do I wear? Help!!!
And if you have any other information on attire for workplace events please share. I am sure this will not be the last time and I am not the only one. Thanks!

I think since its a baseball game, why not a nice pair of freshly starched khaki shorts or pants with a button down starched shirt, with maybe a tank top on under it. Maybe some flat sandals or sandals with a little heel.
OR
Maybe a pair of jeans and top or a sundress. Don't know that I would want to be at a baseball game in a sundress though.
Since it is a casual affair, I would dress casual. Its different than say a buffet dinner and drinks type affair.

Thanks ladies!
I do not know the seating arrangements, we'll get more information in weeks to come they say. Since it will have all the new hires, which I know is at least 18, and the people that already work there, I figure we'll be in box seating.
Oh and I get to bring a guest. Who should I bring?

but NO BLUE JEANS... also the company may have a private box where you have an inside room and the party is catered... w/ food and drinks... a little more upscale. But either way have fun, look cute...comfy shoes no matter what and nothing that can't stand a little stadium seat dirt.
Last time I went to a baseball game w/ the company I wore white dress jeans and a white blouse tied and some short heel shoes (I looked casual fly, w/ shades I looked supastar fly) lol but it was an evening game w/ private box... had it been a day game I would have toned it down a bit w/ maybe capri's and the shirt or khaki's and blouse/tank.

Hmmmm I'm not sure about a baseball game. Probably some khakis would be the safest bet.
We had an office cruise on my boss's yacht and I wore some army green slacks w/a striped shirt and cardigan.
