Hey my Bay folks, watch for me on the news tonight. My dad had a Basketball Court in Downtown Oakland named after him, and the dedication ceremony was today. So watch out for me looking like I'm about to melt....LMAO. It will be on Channel 7.

Aintno, I saw the spot at 5pm, but I did not see ya. I saw Pops speaking to the kids, then a long shot of some folks sitting at mid court....were you one of them?

Congrats on ya pops! I am really happy for ya! I was not at home at 5pm, but I was watching the whole news cast at 11pm. I'll keep on checking the channel 7 web site for the video clip. :D

I watched the 11 and they didnt show a damn thing about it. No, Admin I was one of the people sitting at mid-court, I was one the other side in the crowd. I'm figuring they show the entire thing once the season begins on the Warriors Round Table on Fox Sports Net. Once I get some footage or a photo I'll be sure to post it. Thank you all though. Things like this make me real proud of my Dad and his accomplishments.

Thanks Mel. Yes, My dad did play for the Warriors when they were in Philly and when they moved to Cali. He played with Wilt when he scored 100 points. He's been with the organization for 46 yrs.
