I don't know about only using it to enhance my sex play w/my sex partner, but it is true it does desensitize you. A dildo and a vibrator are two seperate things though. I don't think a dildo would desensitize you, but a vibrator has major power. If I ever get a regular guy I'll make sure that I will not use my vibrator daily, so that I will not overwork him.
