Keep in mind this is mid 80s, Michael Jackson's Thriller years set the tone.
Their moves were influenced, but like the Jets, they were ruled first and foremost by their parents, who apparently decided when they had gone far enough by the time the 90s rolled around.

In the U.K. though they were big time stars, but they couldn't quite cross over to the U.S market. They were too bubblegum - the girls were severely over make upped, and the two boys seemed like they didn't have an ounce of masculinity between them. On the strength of "Can't Wait Another Minute", and the Jets making it seem like teen groups were taking over, I had bought the album - "Silk and Steel", one of my last cassette tape albums. This was also around the time that New Edition was going strong, Troop, Ready For The World, and the girl groups craze that EnVogue emerged from. My little brother thought I had lost my mind on this one though.
