Sisqo
(Feb. 1, 2002) *The New York Daily News has reported that singer Sisqo may be suffering from Vitiligo. Vitiligo is the same skin disease that pop megastar Michael Jackson has. Vitiligo causes a loss of color in the skin, hair and retina in the eye.
The paper says Sisqo has been wearing gloves at junkets promoting his new movie "Snow Dogs," with Cuba Gooding, Jr.
The singer-turned-actor said he was initially diagnosed with eczema, but doctors now believe he may have vitiligo. He is currently taking antibiotics due to a "rash" he's acquired "from the stress," he said.

He'd certainly have to come up with a more contrasting hair color, too. . .that gold and platinum won't be quite as popping.

This skin disease runs on my father side of the family. Although Vitiligo does indeed remove pigmentation from the skin, it does so in patches, attacking several areas. Nine chances out of 10, Michael's skin is a case of continuous injections of "ammonianate mercury" in it. This chemical also causes a loss of skin pigmentation, but it does so evenly throughout the entire body. If Sisqo does have it, it will appear in patchs.

you are right about it STARTING in patches, however, i do know someone who has it on her entire body. there are only a few small spots of her original complexion in which she covers with a concealer. trust me, she is not receiving any injections to even it out. there is no real reason for it appearing in some as patches of pigmentation missing and others more complete. i just know that she has to be very careful with her exposure to the sun.
this is a pretty serious thing for Sisqo. i feel bad for him as i feel for anyone who has to deal with this, especially if your job/career is so public.
