What makeup lines are the best?

Ladies,what makeup line do use? What works best? MAC,Clinique,Iman,Fashion Fair ....

I use MAC... and Prescriptives Foundation because they custom blend it.

I can't really recommend any 'BLACK' lines because I'm too fair for most unless I've gotten a tan.

However, I second the Clinique & Prescriptives for foundations.

For lipstick & cheek color, I recommend MAC, Clinique and Lancome.

I have pretty good skin and not really allergic so I can go with the low-end stuff when my budget dictates and also, it lets me have a wide range of colors to choose from because at those prices you don't have room to experiment with lots of colors.

The Company is called JANE. It's a low-budget brand that I found at Kmart. It's water-based which is the only kind of makeup I can use.

For powder I used Cover Girl Bronze

Lipstick...whatever they are selling at the local hair shop. LOL :p

It seems that the older I get, the less I can use on my skin...(thanks Mom, for warning me, now straighten your halo girlfriend)

All I have been able to use is Clinique.

The worst foundation is made by Fashion Fair. They put to much red in their foundation.

I've used their translucent powder and I like their eyeshadow colors. . .I do believe if I had to count (every brand combined) I have over 100 shades of eyeshadow and 100 shades of lipstick easily. . .

que is not a make up lover...so no wifee RARELY wears makeup. she doesnt need it.

I use MaryKay foundation and lipstick. Avon or MaryKay eyeshadow. I have been meaning to try out MAC..i done heard alot of good things about it...although i cant imagine spending twenty bones on a tube of lipstick:eek:

I also use MaryKay foundation. I have a few tubes of their lipstick too. I buy Avon lipstick and Cover Girl too. Mainly any lipstick I see that I like.

I really want to try MAC makeup, but I just don't have the money for that right now.

I only wear makeup occasionally, but when I do I really like MAC products, Bobbi Brown covers really well but waaay too expensive ($35 for foundation) and I like the lipstick colors that is sold at Sally Beauty Supply (Savvy or something like that).

I use Fashion Fair and Black Opal for lipstick,Maybelline for mascara. MAC has good lipsticks and foundations. I just bought their lipglass, which is really nice.
