It seems like a lot of us are dealing with some ignorant fools at work.

Tell a story about a time when you told got fed up and told your job or your coworkers where to stick it. It can be a nice where to stick it too.

I don't have any unfortunately, I have no backbone.

Right out of the Navy, working as a Security Officer...Personell Director was my supervisor (knew nothing about security) kept coming up with little crap I was doing wrong (wanted white dude in my position) called me in one morning with a warning about my job performance I was done, told him where he could put his job told me to calm down or he would have me escorted off the property, then said he "if I felt that way he would need company property I gave him my keys and the uniform I had on and walked out in my shorts and tee shirt.

He was fired the next week!

We have been having 'togetherness' problems for YEARS now - split along supervisory and racial lines.

I remember at one of our endless - why is it like this meeting? I stood up and plainly said that 'you all are cool as co-workers and what not but if I saw you in the mall - I wouldn't say hello" Even my boss was like Damn Pam,lol

Senior year in high school my cousin hooked me up with a job at Sports Authority. I went from making $6.50 at my internship to $5.50 here. I was already not feeling that. Anyway, I had to stand up on my feet all day, and this wasn't a really busy store. The manager, ole baldheaded ass, used to be on my back about staying in customers' faces. I don't like that. If I ask if you need some help and you say no, I'm like okay. Let me know if you need assistance. Anyway, so one night in Feb. everyone was straightening up their areas. I worked in apparell hell, and was making the time go by by cracking jokes about Martin episodes with a dude who worked in the exercise area. I guess the manger was mad we were laughing, but still working, but I guess obviously not hard enough. So, he walks over and is like you guys need to work. I just looked at his ass. Then once I waited all that time for him to do his inspection so I could leave, he decides that no one is leaving until everyone is done. I'm like man, my mom's outside and has to work tomorrow. He proceeds to tell me why he doesn't care. I'm like man fuck you. My mom makes the big bucks, and at this point I had accomplished my goal, which was securing enough funds to pay my senior dues. So now my mom is calling my phone and I'm telling her what's going on. She's super non confrontational, so she just waits in the car. When he finally lets the gate up for everyone to leave, I just looked at him and said man I really don't like you, I quit. You can sucker someone else with this bullshit $5.50. It ain't enough to work with your ass. The next time I showed up at the store to get my last check, he had the nerve to try to flirt with my mom. I looked at him like "Nigga Please" and left.
