Perfect Illustration
I awake to bed with an imprint of you/Air filled with your scent/I breathe you and get high/How could I get by without you loving me as only you can/When other ran you held your ground/Held me down keeping me on pace/Here at work I stare at your face/So much so it`s transposed upon others/My lover/My Bestfriend/My Queen/I dream of you with my eyes wide open/Hoping/You`re feeling my thoughts as you go about your day/Juvenile games I play/Calling you at work with fake names of choice to hear your voice/To feel your presence embrace me like the ocean embracing the light of the moon/Direct reflection/Racing to our home knowing you`ll be there soon/Play with our children then off to bed/Lighting candles in the bathroom where we`ll play instead/Sharing our love/True/Pure/Undiminishing/Unflinching is our expression/My only question is not how long will it last/But will we last long enough to see the end/Making love again and again/Yet each time is more exhilarating than before/Our whole lives are in store/There is no more I`d ever ask/Alas/You lay you head up my chest whisper I love you and rest/I whisper I love you back/We relax/This moment is a perfect illustration/True love/Yet it was just my imagination
