Well Fam the first week on the job was non-productive. I pretty much was a lead around being shown the ropes. When I first arrived I was introduced to my team and that’s when the rumors started. The company is re-stacking and it is out with the old and in with the new, out with those that will not conform and in with the new, out with the old dogs that don’t want to learn the new and in with the new.
Of course I have now stepped on a few toes. Well, I find out that I will supervisor or team lead over guys and girls that have been with the company for years and well, not too many are happy about it. The brothers are cool and are welcoming me with open arms. My manager and I are to have a meeting soon to discuss my role in more detail. I will be spending the next few weeks working with my team and getting acclimated to the data center and the many server they have and getting admin access to everything.
My page is on order and you know what that means (No Sleep). This place is huge I got lost several time and that was on my floor. Any who, I am loving it so far and I can only look forward to an exciting future.
