The girlfriend wanna save a fight between...Father and Son? WTF?

Fam, I came to work this morning, and one of my co-wrkers said she had to leave to got break up a fight between her boyfriend and his father?

WTF?

Boo, you can't stop two men from fighting, let alone a father and son. No matter what you do, they gotta fight, this is family shyt and too emotional for you to be involved in....basically you will not be helping matters and will gt your feelings hurt in the process.

Fam, what do you think? Should she have left work to break up the fight?

Honestly I would never get between my sweetie and his father if they were fighting. Hell I won't even get between my Dad and my brother.

Chey, I think you are right, she came to work and made up that story to leave. But, when you leave, you don't get paid, soooooooo I do not see the logic in it...plus it counts against you as an unscheduled abscence..

LOL, I applied to be a Team Lead and the second of 4 interviews is on Monday....now that's too funny. You calling me a supervisor??

Seriously though, there is just no sense getting between family, they will be family long after she packs her bags.

The welfare of her children is another issue. I think that admin is right. If she has to worry about them being with her man, she needs a different man.

Okay, but if it was a lie, then she should have worked on the lie a lil bit harder to make it sound more drastic and urgent.

She basically came it to work
Sat down in her cubicle
Said out loud "I'm worried yall?"

We said why are you worried?...and then she dropped the bomb on us. I told her to go tell a Team Lead to get permission to go home and she got right up and in less than 15 minutes after coming to work, she was gone for the entire day with NO PAY!

Blows my mind...I'm like "Why come in at all?, just call the sick line..."

It was Saturday. I bet girlfriend had other plans and just didn't want to work.

If it was that urgent why leave the house in the first place.

Secondly she was trying to backup her story by saying "I'm worried ya'll".

Thirdly she could say "Well I wasn't gone say nothing Marcus told me to ask for the day off."

I supervised in a call center long enough to know girlfriend just wanted the day off.
