Friday, I have my long awaited Grad school admissions interview. I'm nervous as hell. All my other friends who are in school didn't even have to interview for admissions. I'm mad at that. I've got my professional outfit and am taking my aunt for moral support. I'm not sure what to expect, so I'm trying my best to stay positive and hope everything works out the way I want it to.

....most of the questions asked will be about why you are choosing whatever field for your graduate studies, and how you tend to manage the course work, etc....I don't think they will throw anything at you taht you cannot handle. You got this!!

Interview went well, although I was nervous as hell. It lasted about 45 mins and consisted of myself, another candidate and two drs. representing the faculty. I answered their questions truthfully, and as best as I could. The other girl deviated from the topics/questions a lot. I was trying to read their (the interviewers) body language and noticed they didn't like that. I should hear a yea or nay answer within two weeks.

Then you did the right thing. Give the interviewer an answer to their question (you can expound as long as it pertains to the topic) and that's all. Folks talk themselves out of jobs all the time like that.

Congrads......i work at a medical graduate school, and it seems like we do interviews all the time.......most of our students are military.......and the civilians always come in a black or blue suit with a white shirt. One time a girl came in a red suit....BOLD she was, but she got accepted........

Glad you got in..........

That surprising they interviewed you with another candidate.
