I have an interview with Big Boss for a bigger and better position here at the company I work for. It's in 15 mins and I'm nervous as hell. I'm claiming the position, but I'm still nervous. I've been here long enough for them to see that I've serious about being more than just a receptionist. Plus I'm ready to be freed from the freaking leash....THE TELEPHONE!!!

I have been a receptionist a couple times in my life and I know what you mean about being on a leash.

Thank you for the well wishes. I think...no I know, I got the job in the bag. Me being here 6 months and getting rave reviews, did me well in the eyes of Big Boss. Plus I've helped him out on many projects, so it's mine I just waiting to hear the word.

Glad it over, now I can sleep tonight.

I'll keep ya'll posted with the good news ( have to keep a positive attitude)

Whew Lord......THANK YA!!! Oh I feel so blessed. I've only been here 6 months and I'll be promoted from Receptionist to Service Assistant. Whoooo Hooooo....My sentence have been lifted. I still have a few weeks at the desk, while they find a replacement for me. But I'm soooo happy and very proud of myself for stepping up and speaking for what I want.

I get to do a little traveling in this position to the LA area and Sac for training and different meetings.
