From today's EUR

VANZANT SHOW IS ABOUT TO GO

Buena Vista decides not to renew contract.

*Looks like the motivational mamma to millions, Ilyanla Vanzant, will be heading back to making guest appearances on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

In the immortal words of Cam'ron, "Whatjudonknow?"

Yesterday Vanzant announced that Buena Vista and Inner Visions Institute Worldwide have decided not to renew the contract for the "Iyanla" show next season.

The primary reason given for the action is the dramatic impact September 11 has had on daytime television viewership

I only watched the show once but I have read some of her books. What do you think of the show? This is the first time I have heard that people aren't watching daytime t.v. since Sept.11 .I would imagine that it's being cancelled because the ratings for this show in particular, are low.

I caught it a few of times and I think the problem is that she had no clear focus for her format. She went from motivatin' to decoratin'. Have yet to watch it all the way through. She shoulda stayed true to herself and not tried to be everything to everybody.

Every celebrity is not meant to be a talk show host. I've attempted to watch her show a few times and never lasted more than a few minutes.

I've seen the show once. I was bored silly!!! However, I love her books. I don't think she translates from book to tv very well though.
