You remember this topic and I thought of this one this morning while at the ATM : Why do they put Braille on the number pads of drive-through bank machines?

I've wondered about that myself. They also have braille on really high signs, that you couldn't reach w/o a ladder.

there's an atm around the co'ner that has a sign that reads "this ATM equipped with audio jack for the visually impaired" i laughed and asked myself, what blind person would read that? i giggled to myself. the folks in line behind me wondered what was wrong with me.

Now that's the last thing some blind person needs is the ATM screaming out how much money they are taking out, etc.

Surefire way to get jacked.
