Here's the senario.......You've been talking to a man/woman for about 5 weeks. The vibe is great. You finally meet, and you're vibing even more. He/she makes a statement about sex and you respond, "huh....I don't want you......not yet anyway." The response to that is..... Well if you don't want me, what do you want? Serious though....do you assume or expect the next stetp to be sex?

Since we've been talking for so long, I would think the next step is sex. But it's probably better to wait and get to know them face to face also. Some people make up a bunch of lies when they are over the phone or internet.

this reminds me of the dude who talked himself out of some booty by saying "oh Im not waiting three months for it" after we had been talking for about a month and were about to meet. Needless to say I backed out on the meeting. :D big mouth bastard, coulda got some too :D:blah:

i don't wait 5 weeks to ask what the dude wants or find out the hard way. i need to know from introduction: are you lookin for booty, or, are you lookin for relationship. if he wants booty, then, i expect that, after time, he'll get some. if he wants relationship, i don't expect the sex to come so soon and i expect him to wait, since, a relationship is generally long term, anyways...

I wouldn't assume that the next step would be sex. There is a time and a place for everything. I do like to know if they are comfortable talking about sex. I try to find out what theydo and don't do. This is done in a mall, at a resturant so the atmosphere is all about conversation. I never make the first move. I peak her interest so she wants to be with me. I will let things happen naturally but wont assume like week1 dinner, week 2 movies, week 3 picnic, week 4 sex. That just doesn't work.

D
