To the 70s for my high school

Cooley High hit home so perfectly. All the stuff that was going down in there: trying to get with the girlies, going to secret house parties, dealing with the brothers that led the thug life ( for real thugs, not tough talkers) and losing a close friend tragically. Maybe it was the first good rites of passage Black Teen flick. Our graduating class wanted "It's so Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday" made our song to sing as a group in the ceremonies, but we got stuck with " Do You Know Where You're Going To?" from Mahogany.
