She seem to have some lyrical skills, but why does she seem to to be coppin' Aaliyah's style...

Is this Missy's marketing or obsession with the deceased Star...

As far as beauty goes, she doesn't have anything on Aaliyah.
This girl is pretty, but Aaliyah seem to have an inner beauty. There was just something about her that was seductive. It didn't matter if she was dressed seductively or dressed in oversized clothing, she was just beautiful.

the photo above looks more like naomi campbell than aaliyah. i saw a quick glimpse of her on mtv with missy too. she was strumming a few bars on her guitar. she seemed a bit glammed up for me. her voice was ok though but i think if they market her all glammed up and stuff she will just get lost in the shuffle with the other lip-glossed, tight-jeaned, weaved chicks with a recording contract. i think that's what happened with sunshine anderson. why are they not promoting her anymore? i think the same thing will happen (is happening) to blu cantrell. everybody looks alike and has the same 'vibe'. many of the young artists today have another 12 minutes left of their 15 and 'poof'. its a shame.
