Labor Secretary of state...announced she just signed to released $62million in labor funds to get money in folks pockets
and another $50mil in umemployment funds....
they will be sending out workers to those in shelters..and walking the streets of New Orleans to sign folks up...

Unemployment checks come through the mail. What are these people living in shelters and so forth using as mailing addresses is what I wonder.

They said they would try to convert checks to debit cards, kind of like child support. This might work.

I'm just glad that SOMEBODY is thinking and planning a step or two ahead. I feel like the plan respects the human dignity of the folks who are impacted. Most self respecting adults don't want to suck off the government teat forever.
