Where are they now copied from Entertainment Weekly:

Neneh Cherry remembers 1990 as 'intense' it was the year her debut CD Raw Like Sushi - propelled by the top 10 hit "Buffalo Stance" earned her a grammy nod and garnered her the distinction of appearing on EW's premiere cover. But a scary thing happened amid the applause: "I got slightly insecrue about my work," she says. She retreated in 1996 back to her home country of Sweden, where she continues to live with husband/collaborator Cameron McVey and daughters Naima, 22, tyson, 16 and Mabel 3. Now a 40 year old Grandmother, Cherry has kept a low profile while recording several unfinished albums and making obscure cameos on CD's by Groove Armade, Gorillaz and brother Eagle Eye Cherry, among others. She's resurfaced in Europe with a new band, cirKus.

i liked her stuff. i always felt her music was on the verge... at that time... on the verge of 'what' i'm not sure... but as i think back, i can no say... she was on the verge of being a bomb diggity world music musician...

i didn't know she was that old!

i like her honestly that she 'got insecure about' her music.

I remember her song "Buddy" about Lenny Kravitz. She just busted the man out on his cheating ways.

I had picked up that album with Buffalo Stance on it. I loved the video, but in hindsight, she was like JJFad, it was more cute than substantive. She reminds me of Monie Love. She's from Sweden? I thought Great Britain.

Dayum she looks, um, OLD.

I recall her songs and her videos, she looked so good back then - which don't seem like that long ago. *shrug* 40 years old and already a grandmother *smh*.
