;) One thing I must say before I begin. I was definitely a pleasure to meet all of you....Rock...you're included too :rolleyes: ...LOL I've never felt so welcome in all my life. This is definitely something that I'll look forward to in years to come.

Now....

First thing is never show up late for dinner when meeting a bunch of black folks in a black establishment and have them be total strangers.....LOL.

When I got to E&J I was damn near 2 hours late (had to take care of fam, before I met them) and was given instruction by Hula to meet them in the back. Now being that I've never stepped foot in this place I wasn't sure where back actually was. SO when I walked thru the door, I was about to walk up to the first group of people I saw, but quickly thought that I needed to look for Rock before I embarassed myself. I finally found them and was immediately greeted by Rock. Who then introduced me to everyone. Amist the hugs and greetings, I felt lik that long lost cousin that you only see at the reunions, LOL. Everyone looked exactly like their pictures. Actually, you all are much nicer looking then your posted pictures.

I got a chance to chop it up, laugh and compare tatts before Sea and CL left for the Telly. I must admit you all looked WORN OUT!!! Chey, put ya'll to work..LOL. Then Rock, Hula, Chey and Admin left leaving Z, Jon, Que, Mystkev, Tee and myself to close out the evening. I then got myself a drink to loosen up some, well that drink got good to me and I felt the urge to dance. So I did...LOL . The spot closes rather early and we all left to join up the next day.



Hushlive.....

We again I was late. Having to drive from Oakland to Fairfield was chore. Being that it was one of the biggest nights in Bay Area Football ( Raider/Niner Battle of the Bay), the freeways were crowded we people tryin to get somewhere to watch the game. It took me, what's normally a 30 min trip, 1hr to get to Admin's house. Talk about house, Admin has a beautiful home. Everyone was sitting outside, FREEZING, for some reason it wasn't as hot as it normally is, but it was still nice just windy. I finally met Dulce and Sinbad. Again pictures on the web do no justice, to the real person. Then some past Hushers started talking about Hushnics past...(heard alot of interesting stories to say the least ) and we looked at pictures from the past. ROCK.....that TRI-TIP......My GOODNESS!!! Man I didnt know you had the skills. That was too good. I can still taste the flavor. Ya'll missed the Tri-tip. Shrimp Creole was great was well. Okay.. back to what I was say....got caught up in the food...LOL.

Well back to Sat.

After we ate and talked a bit, it was time for CAKE!! Admin said his Hushnic speech and I had the honor of cutting the cakes. ( You saw the knife skiils....DONT PLAY WITH ME...LMAO). Then it started getting late (not too late, but I had kids at home) and I had to make way back to Oakland. Oh Big Worm came thru and I picked up some things that I've been meaning to get for sometime. THANKS BIG WORM. All in all I had a great time, not enough time, but a great time none the less. I look foward to see you all next year, and hopefully a few new faces as well.
