Texas is central, but honestly there isn't a whole helluva lot to do, hence the reason I take every opprotunity I can to get the hell up outta hea. Now, if lodging at a house, as opposed to hotel is a concern, I'm sure there would be a few options available. Que?

Chicago. I've never been, and with two major airports serving the area, flight prices shouldn't be a problem. I've seen fares as low as 139 out of D/FW. And as proven this year, the PRICE of getting there is important for some. Chicago is definately on my "to do" list, and it get's a close, close second to LV.

Atlanta.. please don't.

New York...you want to talk about expensive places, here ya go.

And this means that you can go ANYWHERE. It doesn't matter how 'much' action each place has, because most likely...there will be a place for folks to gather and a place to shop and a place to eat and a place to party. So if you go to almost any city...you will find all of the above.

Now this might work. I have been to Memphis once when my daughter was about 4 yrs old. We had a great time. Went to Graceland, an amusement park, Biel Street, saw the Lorraine Hotel before they turned it into a museum, and the lady that was sleeping outside the fence protesting that change. Didn't get any BBQ because the place everyone told us to go to was closed for a couple weeks. I think the owners were on vacation or something. Saw the man walk the ducks at this particular hotel. We stayed across the street from it.

Sorry K-flow, Atlanta was done the first time Hushnic was ever held and we were there last year for the 5th Anniversary of the Hush. So I doubt we will be doing Hushnic in Atlanta anytime soon.
