Is there a such thing as a bad gift.
Did you get what you wanted or what you needed.
Did you buy a good gift for someone and get a bad one in return.
Lets hear the Success and Horror stories.

I wanted a Dremmel Multi-Pro tool from home depot, so I told everyone to get me gift cards. Worked out great.

There is definately a such thing as a bad gift. LOL

This year I gave my sweetie a Pierre Cardin pen set, and baked him cookies. (he loves those)

He gave me a Victoria Secret giftpack with lotion and shower gels.

Now that's not a bad gift BUT...I can't use that stuff because of my allergies and my asthma. He KNOWS I don't use that stuff and this is not the first time he's bought me something similar. Now his sister uses it ALL THE TIME, and buys lots of it so I'm guessing that's why he thinks I would like it. I used Bed Bath & Body Works products ONLY. As many times as he's been in my house and my bathroom and all up on me smelling me he should know that by now. LOL. :p Oh well...let me clean out a space in the drawer. LOL :D

My point is he bought me a generic female gift without thinking about ME. I am glad that he gave me a gift and it's the thought that counts but when I get things from someone who knows me very well that are not personal I wonder what were you thinking?.

I really don't judge my gifts unless they are clothes...

I'm happy with everything i got...i didn't get a charm for my charm bracelet but it doesn't matter because i'll buy a few throughout the year.

I especially loved my gift cards....i racked up at Hecht's. Waiting on my gift certificates i selected from www.giftcertificates.com so i can spend them.:D
