MOVING ON

Every experience, be it bad or good
Teaches us a lesson or at least it should
It's a blessing he dumped you
After he abused you
Sista' here's some news for you
He never deserved you

So what, your Mr. Right turned into Mr. Wrong
Learn from your mistakes
Look ahead my Sista'
MOVE ON

Dry your tears and wipe your eyes
Find the strength - look inside
Don't you call him
Don't you go see him
Don't you play one sad love song

Block his cell
Delete his email
Look ahead my Sista'
MOVE ON

Love yourself
Take care of yourself
And if the need arises
Please yourself

Because there are more fish in the sea
And in time you'll be swimming
Not all men are dogs
Some appreciate and know how to treat good women

So you do a check-up from the neck up
Say a prayer my Sista' - hold your head up
One day you'll find all the joy your heart can hold
And you'll be glad you pressed forward
And thankful that you MOVED ON!

Depends on if you are true about 'moving on' it can be done and it is quite easy - it's a decision to 'move on'

folks never do understand that. It is a decision to stay miserable as well.

yes. when i made the decisions to break up with all of my boyfriends. they were easy to make and i moved on just as good... and i was at peace with each decision.

sure, i had a lot of hell to clean up OUTTA ME as a result of being with them, and dealing with SELF will always serve harder than dealing with others... however, deciding to leave and then LEAVING... was a peice of cake compared to coming to grips with who i really truly was.
