How High! The Movie (review)

Fam, I got out yesterday to see my two favorite rappers in their fist movie. Hmmmm, it was good to see them make it to the BIG SCreen, but the script could have been much better.

This movie was NOT serious at all and I reallt did not expect it t be, but I think that due to Meth and Red having so much VIDEO experience, they were able to carry the movie.

How High, is really no different to me than any of that other teen movies put out. I know this ain't saying much, but it was better than Dude Wheres My Car?:D

Will there be another movie for Meth and Red? Well, that remains to be seen. Hollywood is looking at them as the Black Cheech and Chong...smoking weed all day! So, how many movies can be made with that premis?

These brothas have jobs already, soooo this might not be the focus of their attention

With Rappers/Actors like: Will Smith, LL Cool J, Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg...just to name a few hitting the BIG screen in a BIG way, this Duo's chances of sticking around for more films, are GOOD! I just do not know if we will see them individually.

But, Will & Cube actually can act...

on his name alone. I do not like Snoop on film. In BabyBoy, he was so skinny and tall (and they say the camera adds weight???)

but I just think that these rappers are very confident actors due to the video shoots they have been on.

Look at the movie "Belly" , all you have was Rappers (most were in their first film role) The movie was good (to me). DMX and NAs did an excellent job, but that was really different than How High.

I am just glad to see them getting this chance to shine on the BIG SCREEN..
