scritch scritch scritch the sound of thighs rubbing together it the summer, lol Do you have this problem? Does it prevent you from going barelegged?
I remember back in the day you wanted to have the three holes in your legs: between your thigs, knees and ankles. That was quite desireable until your grown woman thighs kicked in, lol
I remember mine used to be BAD, now they touch a little bit but not much and I am quite happy to flit around barelegged. However, I do know that a better quality pantyhose will avoid that sound.
From a male perspective what does that feel like to you if your thighs rub together when you walk?

I've never noticed them making a sound before. They do swell up when it's hot and get to rubbing together. I generally don't wear skirts so it isn't much of an issue for me.

I come from a long line of women with THICK thighs. I can remember having them in middle school and not liking to wear shorts cause they would ride up in the middle. I also remember the swishing sound they would create back when nylon jogging suits were really popular. I'm really use to it now. I'm not even overweight or anything, I just have big thighs. But for some reason men down south love big thighs. So what a woman might think is fat or needs toning, a man thinks is just how it supposed to be. Go figure.

Making sounds with your thighs?
Men's shorts went baggy way back... I don't show my thighs, or even knees.
I have noticed that I have that "altered" walk, and that's further incentive when the tastykakes come calling. By altered I mean, I am walking in a different way than I used to. Just a few pounds ago, I had a real straight line walk, and was proud of it as a big man, because I had long noticed that a lot of heavy people pad like a bear, kind of circling each leg, swinging it out as it comes forward, and if you are looking at something like a glass door as you walk toward it, it's a weeble wobble motion, and the toes are pointed outward rather than straight ahead. The thighs will take care of themselves though. My first concern is the waistline and avoid the funniest home videos pants drop if I'm reaching for something up high. No suspenders, hell naw, never !

It's a time to let go of shorts. I've reached that point and most of my shorts wearing days are at the gym. I won't be making personal appearances in shorts too much more.
However, I will wear the hell out of a short skirt.

When my weight was up a bit, skirts without pantyhose where out. Couldn't stand the feeling of my thighs becoming intimate. I've been working out consistently for the past year and can finally wear skirts without pantyhose with comfort. Gave up shorts a few years ago, don't plan to ever wear them again.

Speaking of noises, it is so funny because my thighs don't rub together anymore so that sound is gone, but now all my clothes are too big so now you can hear the fabric of my clothes flapping. I had on the prettiest skirt yesterday...it used to be knee length, down past to the calves now and I sounded like someone was waving a sheet in the wind when I walked. Time for a new skirt.

I HATE store dressing rooms - they are a sin against women, lol I picked out these white shorts and went to try them on - as my daughter picked out some white pants
As we tried on our stuff it became apparent that two generations of women should let the white on the bottom half of our bodies go, lol
However I noticed something else and I really don't know why I haven't noticed before I BATHE, I look at myself naked all the time - I need better lighting in here - but I have developed VARICOSE VEINS!!! OH My Damn! Right in the middle of my thighs on each side. Slithering with no abandon!
Damn. I will be seeing my Dr. about them, but I think I should retire short shorts and rock peddle pushers or something, lol lol
I'll be wearing my 'shorts' around the house and out in the yard etc.

I think the last pair of shorts I bought were some khaki walking shorts.
I noticed something today while I was out walking and that's that there are different degrees of your thighs touching/rubbing.
If it's upper thigh it really doesn't impede/affect the walking.
If it's mid to lower thigh. . .it's quite unattractive because the women have a certain type of "twitch" when they walk which I'm thinking is trying to counteract your lower garments from riding up to your crotch.
I saw a lady who's coochie was just devouring her shorts and thought she knew better. . .

Two words for you Pam.......Thigh Highs!! They have lace at the top that are silent!! They are great in the summer so you do not have the heat trapped in the panty and panty hose!!!!
