Overall the site gets straight to the point and outlines all the services you offer, which is the most important thing. My suggestion would be to liven up the font. Make the titled sections more distinctive from the services offered. Ex. Products Used should have a larger font than the listing of products. Make the titles bold or another color all together. The title of your salon should be the largest thing on the page. You want to catch the eye of the viewer. Make it something creative font wise. What about changing your background to something that coincides with a hair salon like styling chairs, combs, scissors, or an actual picture of the salon (inside or outside).

change the fonts...agree...blue on blue not standing out enough...

HairWorkout...cool name...I'd probably add some nautilus equipment or weights around the name.. create a funky logo...that represent's "hair working out"......

Peace my sistuh!!!...wish you much continued success!!! :)

I like your alignment...nice easy to follow.

The colors dont work well, I have a color management book if you want to sit down one day and talk about it. But Blue and Red Clash.... Blue is a cool color while Red signifies hot and has the viewer thinking about that just because of the color.

Is HairWorkout the name of your company? If so, you may design a temporary logo with just the HW with a circle around it. Get someone to do a fancy font heading for Hair Workout.

Pictures tell a thousand words. Scan or get pictures of your clients hair, I would shoot for 5 shots to put on your site. This should be on Page one.

Since you are attracting customers, you may not want to put your image on Page one. If I didnt know you, that would not be of importance and I may click off or your site, but if I saw pictures of some BANGIN hair styles I would click to see who you were in the about us page.

Every page needs a menu to get around in, so you can get back to other pages.

The front page should have contact information, phone, e-mail, stuff like that.

The Font is fine, to distinguish a difference in sections use Bold for titiles, or increase the font size and make it noticable. This will help the reader in finding topice that interest them.

Colors are important cause you want people to stay on your site. Contrast with the words are important too, because you dont want the reader to strain to read the words.

Good concept though. Keep plugging at it, and it will be hella tight in no time.

I like the concept

I like the simplicity of the page (I hate getting lost on a website).

I am not fond of the colors or the font

I am also not fond of the guestbook theory. I think it is a tad unprofessional and should be used for clients to rave about your work and not for friends to send well wishings after all this is your business.

I tried to change the font but I can't this Website is very limited on the things that you can do...I will try the suggestion about the Red on Blue... but red is my Favorite Color...so that's why I went with that...

I too wish I could make the name of the shop stand out more...but once again...its the site that doesn't allow for the changing of font size....

well...its a start

It is a start....

One thing you have to remember with websites is, you are making them for your customers, not you. So favorite colors have to take a back seat to what is appealing for you to make money.

Try to find pictures with some red in it, maybe red streaks on one of your customers. But Red is a NO NO when it comes to web design cause it is a color affiliated with anger and heat.

All in all you can do what you want, just the professional knowledge being shared thats all.

but like you said....it is better than nothing.
