I got a new job!!!

A few weeks ago some ladies in another department came up to me and were like "you should appy for this position we have available, it's not as stressful as what you are currently doing." I looked at the job description and was like "uh I don't know" they replied "don't pay attention just apply anyway" So I just submitted my resume byway of the company's intranet site on 4/6/2005. I didn't hear a word. On Monday I decided to check the status of my application and it said "offer process" and I'm like wtf???

Today the manager of that department came by and said "come see me when you have a chance." I go in and he says "congratulations you got the job." I said w/no interview? He said yes, we only need an interview if we are unsure or have another candidate with more skills.

So uh, I'm going from being an Advertising Credit Analyst (glorified clerk) to a Sr. Revenue Bookkeeper. I know this will be great experience with me getting my accounting degree and all. I can't believe they are taking that chance on me since I have no bookkeeping experience.

They wern't smirking were they. When I applied here, I didn't even got to the parking lot in my car before they called and said I had the job, I passed the next applicant on my way out.

I got all these congratulations......until I found out that this Witch was off the chain and they had been begging people to take the job and she had been thru 8 secretaries, lol lol lol

So just do some back research. :)

So I guess you can say I've worked under him for the past 4.5yrs. He's demanding, that I know for sure. He also seems helpful though. My new department is really small, there are only 3 of us.

Get this though. Why is it that I am taking over some of my credit duties to my new job? Damn damn damn. I thought I was going to get away from doing payroll :beating
