This the first Maxwell Concert I attended, it definately won't be the last... Man, I had no idea the power this man has over the ladies, I glad he could not take them all home that nite... I was fortunate to be able to snag one lovely Dallas female out of that ocean of thick, juicy & moist sea @ The Bronco Bowl... I have never seen that many beautiful black sistas assemblied in one place... The show was good too, Angie Stone gave a good performance, though most of the crowd was in attendence for during the first hour and a half ...
Hush ladies, does Maxwell Lyrical flow and personna move you, like I saw friday... I think the brother has divine wisdom, in~spite of what most brothers think about him... I saw most of the Dallas Thugs sitting on their hands during most of the performance, afraid someone would call them a punk, if they gave Maxwell some dap...
Never the hater, Maxwell gets the ladies moist... And, like Maxwell said 12.7.01, you have gotten plenty of pussy by dropp'in one of his tunes in the player, during those special times... Why hate, he can't have all those ladies, there are plenty left~over...
Melotic...
:fu the dum shit & the haters...

I agree, Maxwell puts on a helluva show.
I missed him here because he cancelled his first date with Alicia Keys and then when he rescheduled no one knew who was opening for him.

the crowd really didn't show until 9:40, the show started @ 8:00...
I guess the rest of the Hush Diva aren't really feel'in Maxwell...
Of course, I didn't expect any dudes to reply, like those Dallas Thugs... Most guys were in attendence, to she what they could pull that nite, and I really don't blame them... 'Cause there were some fine thick metro~plex ladies in the house...

I like his music but i've never seen him in concert. My sister loves him and has been to about 4 of his shows.
His music is certainly one to have on.
I do have all the CD's and my favorite song is "A womans work" and the latest one...i can't think of it right now.
My man is BABYFACE though!

Luther is a definately punk, no doubt...
at least Maxwell does the ladies...
I never hear any~one say anything about Luther...
Maxwell... That brotha, may I remind you is 1/2 Puerto Rican... Most PR brothers that have the original cultural up~bringing, carry themselves in that manner... Nothing to do with being a girl... I notice a lot american blacks think that, I have been looked at by the same stares by black males over here too...
I am definately all about the ladies, and there is nothing a man can do for me... In fact, those same brothers worried about me, look really silly when they see the ladies that be coming to me, instead of them... I really doubt Maxwell is lying about sexuality...
Luther on the other hand, just don't tell his fan, what he is...
Luther should the example of acting girly, Luther is fag to the 5th power...

Mel, do you arch your eyebrows and do you take care of your skin?
When I visited Puerto Rico I was amazed at how tight (some of) the men kept their complexions. . .made me kinda jealous.

Naw, I don't fuct with the brows, though they are brushy... Those guys have nothing better to do with their time, or they don't have a real job...
I try take care of my skin, because it's not the best... I have sensitive skin, but just do what is needed... I don't do the manicure, peticure thing either, though my ex~girlfriend begged me too... I work in the construction industry, I aint no movie star or a playboy...

Well, first off, I can assure you, I am no dude. yes, Luther is flamboyantly gay. And yes, he is telling the world every time he puts on one of those sequined jackets....what straight man wears a sequined jacket? I love him. he has the voice of an angel. But because he sings about one thing, and presents something else, for me, it is best to buy his cd's and not go and see him.
As I have already said, I love Maxwell's music. But I am not going to go and see him. I find his appearance to be slightly effeminate. Also, he looks extremely young, and I am 40 years old. Physically, I am attracted to an older man than he is. So for those reasons, I will not go and see him. His nationality has nothing to do with it.
Now, my comments were not directed at you, but you seem to be taking this personally. Why? Did it translate that because I said that about Maxwell, that somehow I am saying that about you? Just because Maxwell is half Puerto Rican, as you have said, does not mean that my statement was about every single Puerto Rican male on the planet. I notice that any time somebody says anything about someone, if they are Puerto Rican, you take offense. My comments were about one man, and not millions.

well...luther really believes what he is singing about!
when he says "SHE" or "HER"...he is talkin about a male-SHE or male-HER. i hear that his concerts are good.
BUT
THEY LOVE THEM SOME MAXWELL AROUND HERE!!!!!!!!!!! THat joker keeps coming back too....multiple concerts...multiple times a year...and they ALL sell out within minutes!!!!!!!!!
maxwell concert seems like a good birthday present...for my wife.
I understand though...i felt the same way about mcknight!....that man was singin...i appreciated the musicality of what he was doin! he was right on with his notes and music. so i loved it! plus the dancing girls he had on stage...were...WHOA!

I didn't say you were a dude, you sound like a dude... I guess to each it's own... Nothing personal against, I just hear that all the time... Believe me, love the ladies & the ladies love me, but people want dig deep to find what makes a me tick... I have the up~most respect for women, if I could sing... Well, I would be moisting panties too... I get the ladies moist with~out the gift of song, it would be hail, if could carry a note...

Can't help it Hula...I find myself attracted to men that are in the mid to late 40's.
When I look at young men I think of my children....I have a 23 year old daughter!
I have made exceptions to the rule, once or twice....but for the most part, nope.
