The Leave Me Alone Club!

OK. I feel that there are certain celebrities who I feel that the media should just leave alone. Yes, they have done some outrageous things, or have been rumored to have done so. But, sometimes, the public just have to learn out to LET IT GO.

So, with that in mind, I have inducted the first five card-carrying members of The Leave Me Alone Club.

The first member is Sean "Puffy" Combs.

After the trial, after the paternity lawsuit, people just cannot leave this man alone. Everyday I hear stuff about him, and the media (primarily mainstream) has a field day.

Let the man live!!

The second member is Michael Jackson.

"Is he still the King of Pop?" Why the hell are people still talking about the child abuse allegations?? Just let him be!!

The third member is Mariah Carey.

Enough of the jokes about her breakdowns!!!

The last two are debatable.

The fourth member is Beyonce Knowles.

OK, she will appear in the next Austin Powers movie, and DC3 are branching out to do their own solo projects. It is nothing new for a member of a popular singing group to gain popularity as an individual. The girl is capitalizing on her talents. LET IT GO.

The fifth member is O.J. Simpson.

I'll say it once, and I don't feel I need to say it again: The man was found NOT GUILTY. If he did have something to do with those murders, then let God handle him. I won't even mention those minor charges. Goodness Gracious, folks, give it a rest!!

Well, I know celebs from the other side of things and they LOVE the attention. Yeah, they'll bitch moan, and even try to sue you for defimation but they love seeing that name on the TV and in the Tabloids.

I have to agree with Admin on this one. It seems like a lot of celebrities want the perks of being famous:lots of money,recognition,not having to stand in lines,getting things free or discounted just based on who they are etc. but they don't want to deal with any of the bad aspects. Just about every job has good and bad sides to it,so let's be for real. Don't get me wrong,I don't think that celebrities should be treated worse than anyone else but I don't think that they should be treated better,either.That's why people need to stop worshipping other people . Its a game, I think the star gazing press crews, even those that soft peddle it like Entertainment tonight - they have made this their mission to see if they can get another Anna Nicole story out of this.

I am interested to see with the advent of this instant media of the internet - which is actually, in my opinion, what spawned these evil beings with camera - sheer old fashioned supply and demand, what will happen to the Access Hollywoods and Entertainment Tonites. By the time that comes on TMZ, Perez and others have reported it 10 different ways.

I think they can still be relevant by indepthness etc. that you don't get otherwise.

At some point, Brittney took a piss and and Amy Winehouse blew her nose is going to get played.

The biggest issue currently is the spotlight of the now black entertainment blogs - on our celebrities. They used to for the most part fly under the radar about alot of their shit. You had to become A list to get any coverage and that kept the Ray-j's of the world well out of sight. Now they are being exposed.

Gabrielle Union whining about them and now Queen Latifah is about to go off. They are not used to this kinda scrutiny, ranking (like Dlist) and coverage about their lives. This is going to be interesting.
