and my personal favorites, noodle, and nelly!!!
my mom called me mommy, but only after I had kids of my own. My oldest had the tendency to call me what she heard everybody else call me, so everybody started calling me mommy.

I don't call my daughter momma all the time ,but I do call her that. Especially is she's annoying me and we gotta go, so instead of screaming I will say "Momma please come on" or something like that.

What is the big deal, and with my son i will say Man or lil man!!!

I call my daughter boobies. I have gotten myself in "trouble" over her nickname.

One time at work i was talking with a customer. He was an older man and i was talking about my daughter. I asked him if he would like to see a picture of my boobies. Very quickly he said yeah. I gave him the picture...he looked at the picture, then at me(my chest) and said...you have really nice boobies. :D

LOL @boobies!!!

But a friend of mine is raising his daughter and he calls her Mommy. I get uncomfortable with that. I do not have a problem with a woman calling her daughter that. But a man........too weird!!!

I would have never thought this to be so common...hmmmm

I call my oldest Lex for short and the baby poobie short for pooh bear....but never thought to call either of them mommy. Interesting.

When my child was a newborn, I called her mommy, only because she was going to be just like her mommy, crazy and diranged, and she is. I know alot of females who call their daughter "mommy". All it is is a nickname, don't tangle and twist it.

So can the same be applied to some other names our children are commonly called?

Come here you little bastard

why don't you stop you dumbass?

Sit your fast ass down!

I think in terms of mommy and man that is not taking them out of the relm of something they will eventually end up being (moreso the man than the mommy). I haven't really seen a girl child who is called mommy necessarily act any older - but I have seen some fast girls act it out if they are called that enough.

I call my daughter "mommy" because she reminds me so much of my mother, and her little 4 year old ass is bossy.
