No one can ever say P. Diddy's a scrooge--at least not when it comes to taking care of his kids.
Just in time for Christmas, the rap impresario otherwise known as Sean "Puffy" Combs on Wednesday settled a paternity lawsuit brought by model Kim Porter, the mother of his three-year-old son.
Putting the "Daddy" back in the Diddy, the hip-hopster agreed to increase the amount of child support for his son Christian Casey Combs. The rapper already pays Porter, 30, a court-mandated $11,000 a month in child support.
"I believe the matter is settled," Porter's attorney, Suzanne Bracker, told hearing examiner David Kirshblum in the Manhattan Family Court.
Although Bracker described the settlement as worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $4.5 million, Combs camp disputed the amount as "totally unfounded and inaccurate." Bracker later said her comments were taken out of context.
