Zero posts!

Fam, I'm putting in a new policy were I will delete accounts that have ZERO posts. I have done this over the years with the older versions of the HUSH to lighten the load and clear some names that folks might want to use who really will post and become valued members of our community:D

So, help me here, what time frame should I give folks to post at least ONE post....after they register a new account?

I think 24 hrs is a long enough time
anytime I become a new member of a message board
group or community, I introduce myself.
for the ones that have been registered
for x amount of days, weeks, months, yrs.
their is no excuss. DELETE!

I say 6 months. It takes some people some time to get into the swing of things. Or better yet, it was not up there, but 3 months.

Well since you took away the lurker option I would say 1 month because that will give a person time to look around and decide if they want to stay or not.

I mean they don' t have to be a regular but a month is enough time to post at least ONCE.

Give them 1 month...and then delete them.

I bet that there are many folks out there with only 1 post. Give them 3 months.

Any inactivity for more than 1 year should be deleted...starting immediately!

I think that's fair Admin.

I got one of those emails but it's for an account I created 2 years ago when we were having issues right after Hushnic. Many of us had to create new names in order to post. lol

I had forgotten all about it until that email came in.

I hope we don't get a wave of nonsensical posts that are as meaningful as all those that join, say hi and never post again. Those two and more year old names with no posts should be dropped right off....those folks are gone like the wings at the Sizzler buffet.

Well you know sometimes it ain't necessarily a good party just cause attendance is up. They ain't doing nothing but messing up the acoustics, lol

based on the page count i see with the member list, when you get rid of those zero posts registrars... that kills 20 pages off of your member list... that's what... 20 people per page times 20????

I just peeked at the members list....and in A's...there's still 8 zero posters..."poof".....and then I went to the Zzz's...and there was 7 ...oh what the hell...Admin, just get rid of all the Zzz's.... :upto:
