To me a good weave is one that is done on a gradual scale. One that matches the same hair color of the woman, but these purple BARNEY weaves and blonde shyts, just scream WEAVE when they walk in the room.

I think BET should create a show called "Hair Police"...were they go out and pick folks off the street and give them a hair make over like they do on Ricki Lake:D

I don't think the weave americans believe men will believe that it is all theirs. I know quite a few men who still can't tell a weave from a wig. Some folks just want to be notice and the topic of conversation....

my filipino girlfriend got married a few years ago and i was in the wedding. for the first itme ever, i got a weave.

how come all our asians friends thought it was real? the weave was down my back! lmao

it was a good weave too! blended with my hair perfectly.

i took it out after a month. and i never went back! lmao

I think that's it's all about the personality of the woman that makes her want different colored weaves. Personally I don't know why dark skinned women dye their hair blonde...but that's another topic. LOL :p

Hair, nails, or whatever whether homegrown or store bought should be neat, clean, and complimentary to the person wearing it. If it's not...somebody needs to pull the person (cause ya'll know brothers wear weaves too) to the side and explain it to them.

My opinion is that if you are going to get a weave,get a quality weave or don't get one at all. All those different colors-purple,turquoise,etc and different textures -hair that's rough in front then smooth in back-are just plain tacky :blah:
