You're not alone. My sleep pattern has been jacked for years as well.
The best thing to do would be to go to a doctor to get checked out.

maybe get up earlier... 5:30-6am every morning..
go to bed earlier.. just turn the lights off, play some slow jams.. or read a book
take a long bath
drink some hot tea or cocoa... or wine.. ;)
These are things I do .. But I seldom have a problem getting to sleep.. I start nodding at 11pm now!!

I hate to point out the obvious but good sex is always a sleep inducer. Now if your wifey still ain't giving you none on the regular...that's probably why you can't sleep. Just my opinion.
BE had some good ideas...try some of those. I don't think there's physically anything wrong you just need to relax. You seem to be too wound up.

lol@tastey...
you act like you know me...yet you do NOT have the slightest clue what you are talkin about. "too wound up".... i don't know that i am wound up...but if i am...it is the way that i always have been.

This is what I posted. The two operative words being IF which states clearly that I don't know and STILL which states clearly this was something I read in the past.

Que,
Try aromatherapy candles in vanilla or lavendar..these are calming scents. Try reading a good book about 9:00. Try a bubble bath with either Johnson & Johnson Soothing baby bath or Gerber's Soothing Baby bath( don't trip..they really work on adults). Aside from that I suggest maybe seeing a sleep therapist. Good luck.
BTW: How is your mattress holding up? I have read that worn mattresses are most times the culprit of sleepless nights.
