OHSO, I do have a friend who drives a fully loaded luxury van, and i mean loaded...thing is nice, power everything.....;)

Anyway, he does have a family but he didn't make the comment but he did agree with it.

He also has a car though.

I have a friend that drives a conversion van. He just happens to be single with no children. The first comment out of my mouth was "this van spells wife and kids."

but saab, volvo audi and subaru make some nice station wagons

That brand new Nussan Quest looks like a perfect blend between SUV and mini van. If I had to get one, I'd get that. When we went to the Cape late last month, I rented a Dodge Caravan, and even that was styled softer than the classic box van. It handled well too.

The auto industry depends on the emphasis on looks and the vanity most of us have about what we are seen in to keep those rigs coming off the assembly line.
