Remi stated that the aureola was generally the same color as the upper lip.

Is this true?

Not true for me, I'm 'red', my lips are a pale pink and my areolas are a light reddish brown.

not true, my lips are much more pink, but i read some years ago in a mag that the sexiest lipcolor for a lady was the color of her nipples...i told my mom that and she said ol' boy who said it was a pervy...

No, they are not the same color.

It may be that my original color lips were the same, but I had an incident that changed the color of my lips making them much lighter than they originally were.

Also my aureola doesn't stay the same color. It changes all the time.
