Those with kid(s), what do you plan to get yours for Christmas? What have you gotten so far?

What have you told the kid(s) that you want?

My daughter is in the barbie mode now. I have gotten her so far a couple of barbies (black of course), barbie swimming pool, barbie McDonald's, Barbie microphone and a couple of barbie outfits. I got her some bubblebath and little knicknaks for her stockings. I still need to get her the doll she wants, the Leappad (which i cant find anywear) and more clothes. She won't be getting too many toys this year cause she needs too many other things....and thats what grandmas are for (toys).

I havent told her that i want anything. But i told her raggedy dad that i wanted a Camcorder.

My son is getting a computer and some new clothes. That's it except for what my family will buy him.

I got 19" tv's for each of my kids. I got about 5 pair of jeans and about 4 tops for my son and the nylon athletic pants for my daughter. I also got her 2 pair of those men pajama bottoms and some socks.

I am going to bet my son two of those Battle Bots and a couple other things for my daughter. I am going to fix each of them a basket with toiletries that they need. I am going to try to send my oldest son money and maybe a basket too.

I made out a list for my daughter with stuff I need like socks, underwear, gift cards to my favorite stores, etc. They always ask me what I want then they get me what they want me to have. My daughter like to buy little knick knacks and figurines.

So far I bought my daughter a leather jacket. She really hasn't asked for much beyond that. I think I'll be creative and get her some other things.

My 9 year old wants an X-BOX, my older son will settle for some cash. I told them both that I'll hook them up when I get back from vacation and by then they'll know what they got for Xmass and then we'll go out and get what they wanted but didn't get....

I drop both of them some flow and told them it's for them to do their Xmass shopping and to have some money in their pockets for the holidays...

Now i just have to get my son 2 gift certificates. Hech't and Old Navy

My kids ask me what i wanted and i told them whatever they want to get me. My son says he got a few things in mind.

Wow, I feel rather cheap because I don't buy a lot of gifts for my daughter. . .haven't had a huge Christmas like that for her for years. But then again, I am never broke the following January or February so I'm pleased.

Bright - I always do Christmas in cash so I'm never broke afterwards either..

Haven't done too much yet.. So far I have:

Boys - vcr, dreamcast, about 5 games for it, motion lamp, couple of model kits, couple of games, scooters.. still have to get : clothes - jean/jacket sets, tennis shoes, 19 inch tv

daughter - easy bake oven, about 4 extra mixes for it, about 5 barbies, barbie beetle car, barbie clothes, couple of games - still to get: boots, plan on giving her my tv/vcr - so I have to get me a new one.. :p

and for the family - karoke machine (sp)

LAYAWAY is the way i go...I start in like October plus i have a christmas club account that i'll deposit in my account on Dec 1st.

Also, this year, that tax rebate check, i put 1/2 in my Christmas account.

It seems like alot but it's not...believe you me, i catch the sales and if it go on sale after i buy it, i'm right back getting my difference.

Oh, I decided not to get the CD recorder for my son but he don't know it.

You can never go wrong at Toys R Us.. If you can't find it anywhere else.. They usually will have it...

I have only gotten clothes and shoes for my son so far.
He asked for the above which i got, but he also asked for a 4 wheeler and Playstation2.
I told him I was n't buying a 4 wheeler. He told my parents what e wanted, and of course they brought it, but he doesn't think he's getting it.
So i guess I wll break down and get him the playstation 2, either that or another trampoline(especially since it cheaper)lol

I Pay with cash also, so I don't catch hell paying off the credit cards in the new year.....

i let my parents buy stuff...his dad's side of the family. then i shop last. i am gonna hook his little ass up with the biggest and bestest VIEW MASTER they got out there with EVERY SINGLE view master cards they got.

I figured that should keep his ass busy for days on end and he can play with it any time and take it with him.

I don't have any kids. but i got my mom some Gold Earrings and my sister some Ralph Lauren Coduroys. I told my little cousins to write down 3 things and I would get one. But the two youngest want wrestling men. The 10yr old I have no clue what she wants. I'll figure something out. Or just take the to toys r us when i get to chicago and let them pick one thing under $20.

I have no kids but have nieces,nephew and godsons. I have bought a jumper for the baby,cute bookbags for my nieces,a cute shirt for my older niece and a musical toy for my nephew.Still have more shopping to do.......
