Fam, I was up at 3am on Sunday Morning and turned on BET (I hate that station), but they were airing a good biography on Jamie Foxx (or should I say Eric Bishop).

Anyway, in one segment, this nigga says that he was hurt that his CD went "Tripple Lead" :D

Eddie Murphy tried and failed.....so what maes Jamie think that folks will take his music seriously?

Yes! I have heard him sing and he can!!!! But, All I keep hearing is Skits and Jokes...I mean even if he song is good! I'll be looking for a joke in the lyrics:D

So, my question is....would you ever be able to take Jamies music seroiusly?

Everytime I've seen him in concert, he's sang and no one in the audience treated it like a joke. . .he usually plays a little piano, too. . .not sure how good he is but I don't see why he just can't be a multi-faceted brother. You know how rare those are to come by these days

I think that Jamie can truly sing and I liked "Infatuation". He probably just needs better production on his next c.d.
